Can Marc

From the viewpoint of Plaza Forgas, we admire the remains of the medieval castle that crowns the village of Begur. To the left, on the horizon the Pyrenees. To the right, the immensity of the Mediterranean. And looking down: Can Marc, a beautiful farmhouse that, with more than five hundred years of history, invites you to enjoy the summer night.

Originally a convent it later became a notary office. It was rumoured that the house was haunted, so no one wanted to live there until the great-grandfather of the present owners purchased the property to turn it into a farm.

Over the years it has served as a restaurant, art gallery and discotheque. Today El Jardí de Can Marc is your summer gastrococktail chillout!
